Private Appointments

We know shopping online can be tricky and if you would also prefer to view an item you had your eye on before committing to purchase please get in touch to arrange a visit to our studio in Hackney.

Virtual Appointments

Apologies we are unable to conduct virtual appointments. We find its hard to see detail and condition which is so important when considering vintage so we recommend exploring the collection online and then please get in touch with any enquires after that.

Waitlist

If you missed out on a piece you had your eye on please do take advantage of our waitlist feature. Simply submit your email at the bottom of the listing and if the item gets returned you will be automatically get notified via email when it is back in stock.

Alterations:

Due to the one off nature of vintage and secondhand pieces and sizing being different, we always advise our clients to be prepared to make small adjustments to fit. We have a tailor we work closely with and can support and guide you to ensure this process is as seamless and stress-free as possible.

The joy of vintage is that the possibilities are endless and we also enjoy working with clients that may want to take the design of one of our vintage pieces further to create something even more bespoke. Sometimes a simple adjustment to length / sleeve or silhouette can make an item feel more contemporary which we love. Again we have a tailor we worked closely with and can support and guide through this process also.

Timelines

If you would love to go down the vintage and secondhand route for your wedding dress we advise looking 3-6 months in advance. Due to the one off nature of vintage and secondhand we cannot guarantee what we will have in and when so we find working within a shorter lead time than more traditional bridal brands is more effective as you are able to see the most current collection

Bridal refund Policy

Retold is happy to offer refunds for all full price online bridal purchases and garments must be returned with original tags intact and in the condition it was sent in. Due to the delicate nature of these items we ask you to take extra care - please visit our returns policy page for full details.
